Deleting your account
You can delete your account and its data at any time. There are two ways.
In the app (fastest)
- Open the Shopy 101 app.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap “Delete account” at the bottom of the page.
- Verify it is you — enter your password, or sign in with Google again.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted.
By email
If you cannot reach the app, write to us from the email address on the account. We complete requests within 30 days; writing from the account's own address is how we verify it is you.
What gets deleted?
Deleted immediately
Your account details, username, profile picture, library, favourites, reading progress, follows and the reviews you wrote.
Anonymised
If you sold products, the sales records remain but are unlinked from your name — an accounting record cannot lawfully be erased.
Kept by law
Payment and invoice records. UK tax law requires these to be kept for 6 years, after which they are deleted automatically.
Deletion cannot be undone. You lose access to anything you bought, so download what you want to keep first.
