STS082-763-015 (11-21 Feb. 1997) --- Moving further and further away from the Space Shuttle Discovery, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is backdropped over clouds on Earth. This is the fifth in a series of post-release views recorded on 70mm film by the STS-82 crewmembers. Five space walks were performed by two pairs of astronauts who alternated days of Extravehicular Activity (EVA) to service the giant orbiting observatory. — NASA JSC · 1997.
