STS082-746-059 (11-21 Feb. 1997) --- The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is seen during its separation from the Space Shuttle Discovery at a point over the Indian Ocean. Center coordinates of the area pictured are located at 90 degrees west longitude and at the "bottom of the orbit", at 28.5 degrees south latitude, that is, about 1,500 miles west of the Australian coast.
