"When I got on the Shuttle program, there were a lot of people that worked the tail-end of the Apollo missions. I would have conversations with them. I asked them, 'Is there anything similar between what we’re today and what you first started working on?' They were happy to talk about it. And it was interesting to me. Working on this program is the closest thing to something like Apollo. I think we’re doing a great thing here, remaking history.
