"The Druid Path" by Marah Ellis Ryan is a collection of mythic romantic tales written in the early 20th century. The stories center on figures such as Phadraig, a chieftain attuned to the Tuatha de Danann, and later Ruadan and Doirenn, whose fates unfold against Norse incursions and sacred places.
The opening of the collection first follows Phadraig, son of Nihil, who dreams on Beltain of white sea birds and the Druid well, learns from the wise Roiseen of his ancestral bond with the Tuatha de Danann, and is lured by the birds on Samhain to Tir-nan-Ogue.
