An altar with a Madonna and Child statue as Seat of Wisdom in the crypt of the Augsburg Cathedral, Germany. The Romanesque statue dates from around 1300. To the left and right are one votive candle rack in front of the Statue. The crypt dates from the 12th century and originates from the cathedral's predecessor, a Romanesque basilica. It is dedicated to the apostles Peter and Paul.
